* The per-event District Participation Fee covers up to three students in each grade level of the event (one cast of 15, pluse 4 crew members in One-Act Play).

Example: A Class "A" school enters 3 students in Grade 6 Science, 1 student in Grade 7 Science, 2 students in Grade 8 Science, 3 students in Impromptu Speaking, and a troupe of actors in One-Act Play. This school pays $75 in District Participation Fees: $25 for the Science entries, $25 for the Impromptu Speaking entries, and $25 for the One-Act Play cast.

**A student must have placed high enough in a District Meet to qualify for participation in the State Meet.
