The Contest
Step into a world where every brushstroke tells a story! This year’s Art Memory contest will take you from the sunlit beaches of Boudin’s Washerwomen on the Beach of Etretat to the bustling Paris bridge in Caillebotte’s On the Pont de l’Europe. You’ll marvel at Van Gogh’s vibrant La Mousmé, puzzle over Magritte’s mysterious La condition humaine, and be swept into the drama of Goya’s The Blind Man of Toledo. From the delicate beauty of Leonardo’s Ginevra de’ Benci to the bold colors of Thiebaud’s Cakes, each work offers a window into a different time, place, and imagination. Whether you’re drawn to quiet portraits, energetic landscapes, or thought-provoking modern works, the Art Memory contest is your passport to explore, discover, and be inspired.
Contestants will memorize 30 paintings along with information about the artist and general art elements and history in this contest of art appreciation.
